Basant Panchmi

 FEBRUARY 4 - ALLAHABAD, INDIA: A Naga sadhu, or Hindu holy naked man, takes a dip in the Sangam -- the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati rivers -- on the auspicious occasion of Basant Panchmi at the annual traditional fair of Magh Mela. The fifth day of spring is celebrated by worshiping Saraswati -- the Hindu goddess of knowledge and wisdom.
