"How wonderful is the beauty of this forest! Here is the transcendental lingavigraha named Gopisvara! This Sadasiva (the transcendental source of all Sivas) protects Vrndavana; anyone who worships Him will be successful in all his duties! The gopis always desired Krsna's association, and therefore they always carefully worshiped Gopisvara with different ingredients. How can I describe His great glories? Because the gopikas worship Him, He is called Gopisvara (master of the gopis). The demigods like Indra always praise Him, and by His grace one's love for Vrndavana increases"

"Glory to You, O Lord of Vrndavana with the moon-crest! O Gopisvara, who is worshipable by Sanandana and the four Kumaras, Sanatana Gosvami and Narada Muni! We offer our obeisances unto You! Give us causeless love for the lotusfeet of the two enjoyers of Vraja, Sri-Sri Radha-Krsna!"
